Maizy is one of my recent sculptures.  She has a wonderfully versatile face, with so many possibilities.  Whether an elegant victorian lady, or a homeless bird woman, she  can play the part to perfection.

The bird woman is costumed in a worn cotton print dress, and wool sweater.  Notice her wonderfully sculpted sturdy boots.  Her hat is covered with a gauzy silk scarf from days gone by, and her apron serves as shelter for her tiny feathered friends.
