Presenting Our 4th of July Holiday Shelf Project
Show your patriotism and love of country with this darling addition to our series of interchangable Holiday Shelves.
Once again you have options to make your little shelf just the way YOU want it!
To begin, you will choose from three different figures for the focal point. Figure A is a darling figure featuring Billy Bumps from the Dolly Dingle family. He is all decked out and ready for the fireworks!
Figure B is a fabulous piece that I scanned from my father's collection. The detail in this piece is incredible. And this beautiful piece is the easiest of all to finish. Just a coat of black paint and drybrushed copper paint! Of course we will give you lots of guidance on the painting techniques for all of the pieces.
Figure C is actually a pair of figures, Dolly Dingle as the Statue of Liberty and Uncle Sam. These are darling and are also the most challenging of the three choices. However, they are whimsical figurines, so those stripes, while tiny do not need to be perfect!
Refer to the photo, and use the pull down menu to indicate your choice of figurine when ordering.
A cute runner covers the wooden shelf which is also edged with wonderful bunting edging. On the shelf you will find a wonderful 3D resin model of the liberty bell, little wooden star, and a bundle of fireworks. But my favorite accessory is the awesome arrangement, created in a tiny Uncle Sam hat. The hat is filled to overflowing with all manner of sparkle and shine and is a really fun project!
The project includes two framed pieces of vintage artwork, but we had such a hard time choosing our favorites that we included 7 different images for you to choose from!
About the shelf projects:
I designed this series of projects to allow you to include a special holiday decoration in your dollhouse, or to create a small seasonal vignette that could be easily changed to reflect the current Holiday celebration.
To do this, I have designed a wall mounted shelf unit that allows for the shelf and contents to be removed from the base and quickly and easily changed to an alternate filled shelf. Only the supporting bracket system is mounted to the wall. The shelf is easily removed and replaced. It locks into the mounting unit to stay securely until you wish to change it again.
The last photo to the left will give you an idea of how quickly you can add a couple of items to our shelf to create a darling holiday vignette. Chair and accessories are NOT included in the shelf kit, and are for illustrative purposes only.
