Here is the first of our 2016 Christmas offerings. Our "Gingerbread Tree" stands 7 1/2" tall, and is approx 5" across the bottom. And it is filled top to bottom with the yummiest decorations ever to hang on a tree. We have a total of 15 gingerbread houses, 3 each of five different styles, 12 gingerbread boys and girls, 12 gingerbread candy cane shaped cookies, 12 peppermint boys and girls, 12 traditional cookies and the most amazing and colorful assortment of garland, sprials and glittered floating ornaments you've ever seen. The traditional red and green theme is brought to life with the addition of an electric acid green which brings such brightness and sparkle to the design.
Speaking of sparkle, we have used a 26 light string of white christmas lights on the tree, which is operated by two AA batteries hidden beneath the tree skirt. The battery holder has an on off switch. This would make a stunning centerpiece as the back side of the tree is every bit as loaded with goodies as the front. As a matter of fact, I ended up with a few extra pieces when I ran out of room to put them! The tree would also be a wonderful temporary addition to a dollhouse or room box. Just set it in, and after the holidays, lift it and the battery case out and store until next season.
Students will assemble the tree, assemble the cardstock gingerbread houses (which use the same easy methods as our tiny putz houses) and glitter the ornaments. The 3D printed gingerbread boys and girls, peppermint babies and candy cane cookies all come already base painted, you just paint the features and decorate in any manner you choose. You can paint the faces and the icing on arms and legs and call it done or do some elaborate painting on the clothing and scarves.
Delivery of this kit is scheduled for December 5, so this will be a very short registration period. If you have any questions, drop us an email. Be sure to take a look at the detail photos below.
