I promised you a second Christmas project,
and here it is! What a fun piece this has been to design. I know you will have
a lot of fun creating and displaying this darling house.
My Candy Cane Lane houseis a front
opening 1/4 scale house. The lower floor features a lovely flickering fire
place, decorated tree complete with lots of presents, sofa, dining table and chairs, and china hutch. I wish you could see how darling the flickering fire is! Upstairs
is the bedroom, with an elaborate holly trimmed iron bed, matching dresser and
two night tables with lamps. Both upper and lower rooms are lit with ceiling
lights. The house is self contained, running off a coin cell battery which is
hidden under the base.
The snow covered base measures 6" x 5 ". House is 7 1/4" to peak of roof, including base.
The kit contains materials for the house,
furniture, lighting, rugs, wallpaper, and framed artwork. Everything you see
here!!! Snow and Glitter Dust are also included, but students will need to
provide glue and acrylic paints.
An extensive online tutorial will be provided with hundreds of photos and easy to follow written instructions to help you every step of the way.
