Only One Kit Left - Available for immediate shipment.
I'm tickled pink to announce my new online class project. I'm having a lot of fun with this series of "special places". This time, our 1:48 scale roombox is of a beautiful shabby chic sewing room. How I wish my sewing room could look like this... frankly, totally impossible, as I am a very messy sewer!
Our room starts with a white washed wooden floor covered with a pretty cabbage rose rug. The wallcovering is also a beautiful rose print. The back wall is the feature unit, which is for fabric storage and the sewing machine. And yes, they DO make pink sewing machines in real life.. I bought my granddaughter one last year!! A darling quilt hangs behind the machine, and the shelves are filled with thin bolts of "fabric", all in shades of pink and ivory.
The two chairs are 3D printed, and painted then upholstered with fabric that matches the wallpaper. On the left wall is a combination storage bin shelving unit and ironing board, which sits in front of a pretty three panel screen.
On the opposite side of the room a cute dressmakers mannequin stands before a pretty white cheval mirror. Another chair and fluffy ottoman are for those times when you just have to take a break from the machine and plan your next sewing project.
The room in enclosed with plexiglas and a frame. It can be temporarally or permanantly attached. The lights are powererd by a coin cell battery which is hidden beneath the room box. There is a push button on/off control on the back.
All materials and accessories shown in the photo are included in the kit price... even the lighting. Students will need to provide basic tools, a razor saw and miter box, glues, paints and brushes. Instructions will be provided via an extensive online tutorial with text and photos of each and every step start to finish.
Please look at the additional photos below and email if you have any questions.
