August Series 3 Hat Project - DOWNLOAD

Well, by this time in the third year of designing hats, I was having to come up with some really unique designs and techniques. This is one of those!! Made from a very open weave silk with metallic threads, this technique and pattern would work equally well with an open lace fabric, or even an very decorative heavy net. The tall steep crown is shaped, and the brim is wired for support. The assembly is designed so that no raw edges show, even tho this hat is virtually see-thru! The coordinating hatbox is also included.
