THIS CLASS IS SOLD OUT....AGAIN! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND INTEREST, AND CHECK BACK SOON FOR OUR NEXT ONLINE CLASS OFFERING.
This project was announced on September 17, and completely sold out in under 4 hours. I have received emails from so many disappointed (heartbroken?) students and long time customers who did not get into the class that I felt I had to do something! So I have contacted the factory in China, and am having a run of cabinets made to offer this class a second time. They have promised that they will have the cabinets done by the end of October.... IF I can give them the quantity for the order ASAP. So... I am opening registration again. If you want to do this project, please order quickly. I need to get a total of how many cabinets I need to order this week to get them here in October. I'm only ordering for the students who register for the class, so once again, if you hesitate, you will miss out! Below are the details from the original offering. If you have any questions, please drop me an email! Thanks!
Over the weekend, my daughter made a beautiful slide presentation of this project! Click here to view it:

As I mentioned in my last newsletter, we have been hard at work on a new baby house project. Our "Favorite Things" project is the most detailed and unique baby house I have ever designed. A pretty "shabby chic" palette of pinks and sea foam green has been used throughout. Unique room themes, gorgeous artwork and amazing furniture pieces and details combine to make this the most amazing baby house you will find anywhere! And now you can add this amazing piece to your collection!
The baby house cabinet is in 1/12" scale. Doors with inset glass open to reveal a total of nine spaces. Drawers and a little pull down writing desk surface are contained in the lower portion of the cabinet. This cabinet was originally designed by Bespaq. This version, with the glass doors was developed at my suggestion several years ago, and remains my favorite. The cabinets included in this kit have been produced for us by the original Bespaq factory. I have prepared and modified each cabinet to accommodate my exclusive wiring method. Each room contains an led chip which is powered by a coin cell battery. The battery and on/off switch are contained in a drawer in the lower portion of the cabinet. No wiring is visible, and each LED chip is covered by a beautiful 3d domed ceiling fixture.
The magnificent rooms in the house each have exclusive wallpapers and rugs that I have designed specifically for this project. Colors have been carefully coordinated for a beautiful overall effect, and original window artwork has been strategically placed in each room to coordinate with the furniture arrangement in that room.
Each piece of furniture has been modeled and printed on our state-of-the-art resin 3d printers. No other technique could provide the amazing details that you will see in these pieces. From the finest cabriolet legs and carvings to tiny dishes, faucets and lamps, the details are simply "over the top". Months of modeling has been devoted to the creation of these pieces. And years of research in the best way to paint and finish them too! All of those valuable finishing techniques and tips will be included in the extensive online tutorial. A total of 66 different printed pieces are included!
My objective in this project was to create rooms that were exceptionally unique. I have done several complete baby house projects in the past and sought to create a piece that had rooms that had not been done before. Of interest is the spa like bathroom. No longer a tiny space stuck in a hallway, this bathroom is a dream space that anyone would love to have in their own home! The lovely art salon in the lower level is a space that our lady of the house loves to retreat to. Surrounded by beautiful artwork and sculpture, it is the perfect place to relax and sip that tiny cup of tea that sits on the side table. The inset bay window in the salon is just fabulous, adding dimensional architectural detail.
Take the time to study the accompanying photos to observe the tremendous level of detail in this project. Don't miss the little mixer and canisters on the kitchen counters, the bouquet of roses on the dining room table, and the lovely dishes inside the hutch!
As always with my projects, there is a complete online tutorial will cover each and every step of this project in depth, with photos and written instruction to allow you to achieve amazing results using tried and tested techniques designed for all skill levels. All materials are provided. Students will provide paints, brushes, glues, and minimal tools. Good lighting, and if needed, magnification are recommended for working in this scale.
You probably know that my baby house classes always sell out quickly. The class size is limited due to the number of cabinets that I have available. Registration is available on a first come-first served basis. Anticipated ship date for this kit is November 1, 2024.If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email. And if you have not taken one of our online classes, feel free to refer to our FAQ page for general information.
