Some people call them "conservatories", others "orangeries", or even "she sheds".  We call ours simply delightful.  This darling 1:48 scale project is both elegant and unique.  From the curved roof with cupola and  beautiful mullioned windows to the stone base, this project is certainly not short of details.  I've done it in a beautiful greige which is a real design trend lately, and I can see why.  The lovely grey/brown is a beautiful background for greenery of all kinds, and is a soothing, elegant change from the usual white or green.  Check out the darling little porch lights on either side of the door, and all of the cute brackets supporting the eaves.  Don't miss the little fluer-de-lys spire extending up from the roof top.

Inside the conservatory is a beautiful four piece set of wrought iron furniture which includes a bench, two chairs and table.  They have all been 3D printed in resin and the detail is amazing.  Sitting on the table is a tiny pitcher and two glasses of lemonade, also from our 3D printer. The pitcher measures less than 3/32" tall!

A wrought iron plant stand holds a gorgeous Boston fern in the front corner, and two lovely potted palms grace  the back corners.

For access to the interior, the entire lid lifts off of the building.  Hidden up inside the lid are a coin cell battery and switch as well as mega led chips which illuminate the interior with a warm sunny glow.  All materials are included in the kit for everything shown here.  Students will provide basic tools, paints, and glues.  This is not a project that you can put together in an afternoon because of the many layers of detailing.  However, with it will surely become a favorite piece in your collection as it has in mine.
