As I mentioned in my last newsletter, we have been hard at work on what I think is the most detailed baby house project ever. Introducing the "Rose Cottage" Baby House. The cabinet, originally designed by Bespaq, is a 1/12 scale piece of furniture measuring 7 1/2" in height. The 6 main rooms each measure approx. 1 3/4" wide, 1" deep and 1 1/8" in height. All rugs, wallpaper, furnishings and artwork have been carefully created to coordinate beautifully in various shades of pink or rose. The house is completely lit with 9 led lights. They are powered with a coin cell battery and on/off switch with is cleverly hidden in the middle drawer.
The lower floor has a wonderful living room, with built in wall unit filled with books and family photos. A fire is set in the fire place. Settee and two barrel chairs are grouped around a tiny coffee table, just waiting for a cozy conversation. Also on the main floor is a lovely ladies study, with built in window seats, a lovely french desk, cozy wing chair, standing floor lamp and a beautiful white Mora clock.
The second floor features the most amazing kitchen that has ever been done in this scale. A super awesome vintage refrigerator and stove in pink, tile counter tops, and a sink with amazing faucets, and best of all, shelves with dishes, a wonderful stand mixer, toaster, cookie jar and set of canisters, as well as a set of copper pots hanging on the wall and tiny copper tea kettle on the stove. We left out NO details in this room, and really put our 3d printer to the test to create many of the incredibly intricate accessories and details featured in this project. Next to the kitchen is a wonderful country chic dining room, complete with farmhouse table, amazing 3d printed chairs, and hutch filled with china.
The third floor features the master bedroom, with lovely bed, nightstands and armoire. Don't miss the tiny little lamps on the nightstands! The little girls room is a wonderful confection, with a built-in in cupboard bed. Its a wonderful piece which coordinates perfectly with the wallpaper and rugs in the room. Our lucky little girl also has her own dollhouse and teddy. There are lots of additional photos below!
I imported a limited quantity of baby house cabinets for this class, so if you are interested, don't delay in registering as this class will absolutely sell out. All supplies and materials used are provided. Students will need to provide basic tools, glues and paints. If you have any questions, drop me an email.
The kits for this project will be mailed approx. June 10,2020. Thank you!
