Introducing our new Baby House Scale Roombox! This roombox kit was developed at the request of one of our long time customers who wanted to do some of our baby house rooms as stand alone scenes rather than in a full cabinet. This seemed like a great idea! So we got busy and tried to make our little version just as wonderful as those 1/12th roomboxes we all know and love.
To introduce our little roombox, we are offering a class that features the roombox, complete with lighting, as well as our newest room kit, titled "Come for Tea". The scene features a lovely setting in front of a beautiful fireplace, with two facing comfy sofas. In between, on a lovely rug sits a pretty little coffee table. Look closely, and you will find the tiniest tea service you have ever seen. Look even closer, and you will find a set of three little pillar candles on the fireplace mantle! Don't miss those pretty little pillows on the sofas! We don't believe in "go big or go home"... just the opposite! The smaller the better! The room also includes my original wallcovering complete with pretty window artwork as well as beautiful framed artwork. In fact, you will have several different paintings and rugs to choose from in your kit.
The room is lighted! The 3d printed ceiling shade covers a led chip. The coin cell battery and on/off switch are cleverly hidden below the room.
Best of all, a beautiful 3d printed frame is fitted to the front of the roombox. It has been designed so that a piece of thin plexiglas slides up and down to enclose your little room setting! If you love baby house scale, or if you have ever wanted to give it a try without committing to a full cabinet, this is the class for you! Interior room dimensions are exactly that of a babyhouse cabinet, 2"w x 1" d x 1.125" high. This box paired with our little companion table (sold separately) would be amazing in a 1/12 scale roombox! Extensive instructions for each and every step are provided in an online tutorial that can also be downloaded in pdf form so you can work offline. All supplies and materials shown here are included in the kit. Student will need to provide basic tools, paints, stains and glues.
Anticipated ship date for this kit is August 22. Space in this class is offered on a first come first served basis. Class size will be limited so register soon.
We will not be shipping orders between 2/28/26 and 3/11/26. You can still place orders via the website, but be aware that shipping will not occur until after 3/11.
