Noella is another new sculpture for 2006.  She has quite delicate features, and seemed perfect for a Regency era costume.

Her gown is made from batiste, in the typical style of the era...high-waisted, short sleeved, and a low neckline.  The overskirt was made from a wonderful antique hankie that was as fine a piece of fabric as you could find.  It has an interesting stitched edge, and random embroidered flowers.  I lightly dyed it to coordinate with the dress fabric.

The matching bonnet is trimmed with roses, feathers and lace.  She wears an antique lace shawl draped over her arms.  This doll was made using my regency era legs, which have the perfect flat slippers, which were then covered with fabric.

Noella stands 51/2" in height.
